Al brings three decades of experience in building businesses within the financial services ecosystem. He has held senior management roles at BNP Paribas; Bank of America; and Scotiabank, where he served as Global Head of Prime Services, a voting member of the Equity Management and U.S. Risk Committees and a member of the Board of Directors of Scotia Capital (USA) Inc.

Al was previously the COO of a global-macro hedge fund, and currently is a board member and adviser to several companies, as well as a trustee to Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, New York.

He holds a B.A. with double majors in Government and Psychology from Georgetown University, where he co-captained their Division I baseball team. Al also holds an MBA in Finance and Management from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
